Role Description

Macduff / Lord: (Lead) one actor to play both parts. MACDUFF ("Macbeth"): A nobleman hostile to Macbeth’s kingship from the start. Eventually becomes a leader of the crusade to unseat Macbeth. Must be believable as a warrior, he emerges as a heartbreaking, humane and moral compass of the play. He also desires vengeance for Macbeth’s murder of Macduff’s wife and young son. LORD ("La Dispute"): one of the corrupt members of the Prince’s pampered court; mostly a silent role. Some physical training is a bonus for this role.
