Production Description

Casting “Madame Infamy,” a new musical in development about two historical women who at first glance would never be paired together on the same stage, but after a closer look it is clear why destiny would have brought them together. Coordinator states: “The show was originally workshopped at the 78th street Theatre Lab in 2009 as a play with music to great reviews. The creators have re-imagined the original production to make a fully realized musical. The next evolution of this theatrical piece is filled with new music, revised script and a new sound. We are looking to do a stage reading of the piece at the end of September and are looking for musical actors to join us on the ground level of this journey with the hopes to be apart of the process all the way to the Broadway stage. The show takes place in Paris France and an American plantation in the South in the 1700's.”

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

Rehearsals will be approximately 3 days a week for 4 weeks. Staged reading performance will be held late September in NYC.
