Production Description

Maine State Music Theatre (Brunswick, ME) is casting its 2013 season. Season includes "Les Miserables" (based on the novel by Victor Hugo; Claude-Michel Schonberg, music.; Herbert Kretzmer, lyrics; Marc Robin, dir.-choreo.; Ed Reichert, music dir. Rehearsals begin June 8; runs June 26-July 7), "Gypsy" (Jule Styne, music; Stephen Sondheim, lyrics; Arthur Laurents, book. Norb Joerder, dir.-choreo. Aaron McAllister, music dir. Rehearsals begin July 1; runs July 17-Aug. 3), and "Mary Poppins" (Robert B. Sherman, Richard M. Sherman & George Stiles, music. Robert B. Sherman, Richard M. Sherman & Anthony Drewe, lyrics. Julian Fellowes, book. Marc Robin, dir-choreo. Jason Wetzel, music dir. Rehearsals begin July 20; runs Aug. 7-24.)
