Making It on Broadway
Jodie Langel, CEO.

Production Description

Seeking participants for Making It on Broadway, a week-long summer intensive in the heart of New York City in which students explore the realities of what it means to be a modern Broadway professional. Producer states: "The program is based on the bestselling book 'Making it on Broadway.' This summer's master class instructors include Broadway composers Frank Wildhorn and Pasek and Paul, Broadway actor and Tony nominee Anthony Rapp, Broadway actress and star of 'Wicked' and 'Dogfight' Lindsay Mendez, and one more exciting master class to be announced! Students participate in classes taught only by Broadway professionals (including casting directors, agents, performers, directors, music directors, conductors, producers, and composers). Over 10 different core training classes are offered (in addition to master classes) every day. How would you like to work with a Broadway composer and then see his or her show that same evening and talk to them afterwards? Or work with a Broadway actor and watch them star in a show that night? Making It on Broadway will give you that opportunity. All of this is accomplished in one week. Every day there will be a different Broadway master class, and every student will get to perform at one master class, guaranteed. Finally, at the end of the week, each student gets a private audition for a Telsey + Company casting director and a Broadway agent."
