Production Description

Casting "Tropic Talk," a student project for Molloy College. "Tropic Talk" is a roundtable talk show, where the contestants vote off the person they feel has either made a bad point, tried to attack their point, or even just
based on personal reasons. There are four contestants and one host. The
contestants are Harry Cane, Sue Nami, Tina Colada, and Moe Hito, and the host is named Mark A. Rita. The topics of discussion are movies, world news and the failed relationships of each of the panelists. While discussing Movies, Harry brings up the old Batman and Robin movie from 1998, Tina tries to change the subject to "Les Miserables," Moe attacks her for being a woman and brings up "Zero Dark Thirty," and Sue mentions "Life of Pi," but she admits to never actually seeing the movie. Next they move to failed relationships, Sue is the first to talk about hers. Her worst memory is about an accidental eye poke over dropped keys. We later find out that she has never had a real relationship, much to Tina’s enjoyment. Tina is revealed to be a lesbian. The news about Tina leads to a dramatic realization from Mark, and Tina tries to disprove the statement. The show ends without anyone being voted off because Harry annoys Sue and she gives up trying to vote, and he goes on to explain more about the Batman nipples. Harry is a man with a loose perception of himself who tries to take on the personalities of others he finds more desirable. Tina is a lesbian who tries to
keep her orientation hidden. Sue is a shy woman who has never been in a
relationship, but tries to hide it by talking up her failed first date. Mark is a hotshot TV host who tries to lure Tina to his trailer, and later Sue. Moe is more of a laid back guy, he puts his bit in and sits back to watch the rest unfold.
