Production Description

Casting "My Other Voice." Producer states: "Based on Alex Kip's true story, [this project offers] a moving, surprising, and inspiring portrait of a young adult’s life-threatening battle with cancer. During Alex’s senior year in the prestigious Musical Theatre program at the University of Michigan, the Broadway bound singer first loses his voice, and then learns he has a 15-30% chance of survival. His world is turned upside down; yet he finds he is not alone when he meets Amy, another adolescent survivor. The crippling loss of his voice, his recovery, and the discoveries he makes along the way, shines light on Alex’s darkest hours, transforming him and the characters he meets. They discover humanity, humility, humor, and, ultimately, what it really means to sing."
