Production Description

Casting "National Pastime," a Broadway-bound musical comedy that tells the story of the Baker City Cougars – the greatest baseball team to never exist. Project description: "A small Midwestern town and its radio station are down on their luck during the Great Depression. They need is excitement, so they create it – in the form of a barnstorming baseball team, whose exploits are broadcast daily.Trouble comes when Life Magazine shows up do a story on the imaginary team. This new musical comedy, which takes an affectionate and humorous look at small-town America in the ’30s in screwball-comedy style, has aspirations (and backing) for a New York production in 2014, and will be marketed through the Spring Training period."

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

Rehearsals begin Jan. 27, 2014; runs March 7-30, 2014 in Peoria, AZ
