Production Description
Hannah Kettering (dir.) is casting "Flux," a student film for New York University. On the day of her father’s funeral, a young girl tries to cope with the loss of her father through her dreams.
Emma discovered her father on the day he died and has been unable to speak since. Helen, Emma’s mother, is too grief-stricken to reach her daughter. On the day of his funeral Emma is still unable to cope with the loss and cannot bring herself to leave her room to attend the funeral. Through her dreams she explores her feelings. It’s left to Emma’s Aunt Kelly, young and vibrant, to break through her niece’s walls and reach her. Emma must wake up from her dreams and accept a new life without her father.
Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations
Shoots May 3-5 in Brooklyn.
Compensation & Union Contract Details
