Production Description

Rezwan Shahriar Sumit (dir.) is casting "Raising Flames," is a seven-minute military thriller for New York University set at midnight in a General's office room; a secret is revealed, so treacherous that it can not go beyond the four walls. Director's previous short-films include "Moon Fairy," "Trick-or-Treat," "City Life," and "Forever Young." Director states: "An NYU Tisch School of the Arts graduate film production. Considered the best in the business, the program holds exceptional reputation in both Hollywood and World Cinema circuits. Renowned directors such as Martin Scorsese, Ang Lee, Oliver Stone, Spike Lee, Woody Allen, Joel Coen have studied in this school."

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

Shoots for three days between March 16-April 15 (rehearsal dates TBD).

Compensation & Union Contract Details

A deferred payment of $100/day as per SAG policy for student films. SAG Student Film Agreement.
