Production Description

Casting "On Holy Ground," a two-act/two-part play about Israel. The first part, "Daughter of My People," is about Henrietta Szold, the founder of Hadassah, and the early days of Israel before it became a state. The second part, "Jihad," is about an Israeli Orthodox mother living in the settlement of Gush Etzion, and a Palestinian/ Hamas mother, living on the border of West Bank/Gaza, in present day Israel, and how one act of terror connects the lives of these two women.

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

Performances run May 5-14 at National Pastime Theatre at the Preston Bradley Center, in Chicago, IL. There will be two additional performances on May 20 and 21 at Phoenix Theatre in Indianapolis, IN.

Compensation & Union Contract Details

Stipend, plus travel and housing expenses provided for the Indianapolis run of show.
