Role Description
Sonia: (Supporting) [SONIA] female, 14-21, A very attractive girl who uses alcohol and her body to get what she wants. Her clothing clearly displays desire for attention. She isn't a bad person, but has developed a solid reputation as the girl who sleeps around once she's been drinking. However, after a night with a guy leads to rape, the role/responsibility of alcohol comes to the forefront. Supporting Role.
Production Description
Phantom Projects Theatre Group is casting Out, Out, Brief Candle at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts. This motivational play deals with the potential consequences of drug and alcohol use among teens. The production will feature all-youth performers between the ages of 13-21. We are NOT seeking older actors to play younger. The performance will also feature a post-show discussion with the cast and the audience. Those cast in the production should feel comfortable discussing the topic with the audience after the show.
Performances are on May 16, 2013 at 10AM and 7PM. Please note: There WILL be rehearsal on Mothers Day.
