Production Description
Andrew Pritzker and Christel Highland are casting, PERK, a dark comedy HD Narrative Short about an Artist who's created an unimaginably violent new comic book character and suffers a moral crisis. (Yes, it's a comedy from 2007 Nicholl Fellowship Finalist, Andrew Pritzker.)
This is a Union/Non Union Production aimed directly at the festival circuit and Oscar consideration. PERK is a Non Pay / Differed Pay Production as described by the SAG / AFTRA Low Budget Short Film Agreement. (Application for the SAG / AFTRA Short Film Agreement has been filed and is pending approval.)
Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations
Shoots Aug. 16-24 in Kansas City, MO. (4 Production Days over 2 Consecutive Weekends.)
Compensation & Union Contract Details
No pay/deferred pay. SAG-AFTRA Low Budget Short Film Agreement, pending.
