Erica Williams: a Caribbean immigrant who has been in the U.S. for 20 years, oblivious to reality, insensitive and crude to those she deems a misfit, is the eldest sister to Maggie, a professed 'holy' Christian, very critical of others and extremely judgmental and prejudiced towards her compatriots, hates black men, mixes up her native dialect with American English, her behavior is most often seen as obnoxious and uppity.

Carl Drake: a married father of two minor children, an aerobic trainer and instructor, very fashionable and attractive, nicknamed himself the "stud," is the best friend of Kent and secret lover of Maggie, a womanizer and deceiver.

Keisha Gibbs: a young, beautiful, intelligent high-profile prostitute, very classy, has an infectious personality, a musician and dancer, is a close friend and former band member of Kent.

James Lugs: a married and lonely, sex-depraved pervert and peeper, speaks with a foreign accent that people find captivating, wears huge eye glasses because he is partially blind, is the landlord to Kent and Brother Brown, morbidly obese, is one of Maggie's secret lovers and sugar daddy.

Brother Brown: a widower and Baptist Christian, kind neighbor to Kent, caring to those he meets, is the neighborhood "eyes and ears."
