Bill Howey Acting Studio
Bill Howey and Carla Howey, instructors

Production Description

Seeking participants for a new beginner acting workshop. Studio states: "Why are Bill and Carla Howey teaching this special beginner class? Because for 32 years we have been teaching Advanced/Intermediate Scene Study workshops and see many actors come to our classes with years of training but with horrible acting habits. Habits learned from inexperienced teachers. It takes valuable time and money to undo these bad habits. We want actors to learn their beginning skills from reputable teachers who know what they’re doing and how to do it. Our Beginner class will teach actors how to create dynamic, truthful and emotionally alive characters. Learning how to act the right way in the beginning of one’s acting career is imperative. Learn the necessary skills and tools to becoming a compelling and believable actor from experienced teachers who really want you to succeed. Clients past and present include: George Clooney (Academy-Award nominee, 'The Descendants'), Steve Howey ('Shameless'), Max Greenfield ('New Girl'), Sarah Shahi ('Person of Interest'), Alexandra Daddario ('Parenthood'), Finola Hughes ('General Hospital'), Al Madrigal ('The Daily Show'), Sam Hennings ('Memphis Beat'), Steve Rannazzisi ('The League'), and Sam Kinison (legendary stand-up comedian)."
