Role Description

Field Interviewers: Skilled actors, professional, responsible, and outgoing, great at communicating, willing to knock on doors of provided addresses to gain cooperation with households and conduct interviews. Actors should be comfortable using a provided laptop computer and tablet for the approximately 75-minute interview.

Production Description

Abt SRBI, a nationally known public opinion research organization, is seeking trained actors to work as Field Interviewers for a project sponsored by the U.S. Department of Commerce. The project will gather information from a random sample concerning public opinion on important national issues by cold call knocking at pre-determined addresses.

Interviewers will be paid for a nine-day training session in Washington DC with travel, airfare, hotel, and food provided, followed by an 8 week work period in your local area. Coordinator states: “This is an excellent opportunity to use communication skills to earn money on a paid, weekly basis, with flexible hours. There will also be the opportunity to work as an Interviewer on other projects.”
