Role Description

Daniel Davis: (Lead) broken common man, slender build. The temper of his outrageous youth has been dulled by 15+ years as a wage slave in the all-but-dead Ohio Valley steel industry. His weathered, stubble-covered face seems to perpetually express an irrepressible shame and his slouching posture communicates an apology for it. He has never been one to pay much attention to his appearance. His full head of short dark hair is always a mess, his clothes are always old and usually dirty. Both his tendency for self-neglect and his opiate abuse is amplified by the suicide of his wife. The despair brought about by the death of his wife mutes the blind pursuit of pleasure and comfort that has been the hallmark of his life for more than a decade. From his inescapable discomfort and agony grows his strength and awakens within him the misdirected rage and passion of his youth. The reappearance of the same manic passion that in fact destroyed his youth is inspirational to his friends but ultimately comes to blind him the same way it had in the past.
