Production Description

Casting "Ripe Hours," a 16-minute short film set to music with no dialogue. Producer states: "Thematically, 'Ripe Hours' is first and foremost a love letter to the archetypical hometown. It happens to take place in Columbus, OH, but the main goal is to portray the mixed but universal feelings of warmth, pride, anxiety, and longing to escape only to return, that are unique to the places where we are raised. It also strives to capture a particularly human moment in our lives and a mentality that only comes with a certain age; The point in our journey when we learn about nostalgia. The problem with our discovery is we are longing for the exact moments playing out before our eyes. To accept this idea we must realize that no matter how hard we try, the moment will never last. But that is exactly what makes it worth longing for."
