More Info
The European School of Dramatic Art was founded in 2012 in New York City as a training ground for professional actors and directors who desire to constantly hone their skills as part of a growing ensemble, even after formal studies at a conservatory or university. The emphasis is on ongoing research about acting as an Art and as a spiritual endeavor rather than the assembly line of commercial theatre. At the same time, the School actively seeks opportunities for performers to show their work and talent to the audience as a crucial moment of interaction and feedback.
One of the first objectives for the School is the creation of a core ensemble, a group of like-minded performers with a shared vision of artistic excellence and professionalism. Thus, the European School of Dramatic Art aims to be at the same time a laboratory and a theatre company. For more info on this project, visit www.esdart.org/projects
