Shakespeare by the Sea is casting its 2013 summer season, to include "King John" which explores the question of legitimacy, treachery, and power transfer in 12th-century England (perf. June 13-Aug. 11; Stephanie Coltrin, dir.), and "All's Well That Ends Well" (perf. June 6-Aug. 11, Patrick Vest, dir.), a comedy about a young orphan trying to find a way to marry her true love who happens to be a nobleman, and also happens to not really like her. Producer states: "At Shakespeare by the Sea, everybody pitches in to get the job done. It s truly a unique experience for those who get involved. Our performance venues are charming, the atmosphere we create is truly magical and our audiences are enthusiastic. We are non-Equity. Teamwork is mandatory. Shakespeare by the Sea is a hands-on production. Actors are also crewmembers; they set up and breakdown the set each night. It is a synchronized and streamlined process where each person is assigned a few tasks." Lisa Coffi, producing artistic dir.; Nicole Wessel, festival prod.
