Role Description

Woman (Vespa, Vesta, Vera): (Lead) of Mexican descent. This woman has had a rough life. Has given herself wholly to so many men who promised her the pearl in the oyster and only gave her the shell. Something in her past suggests that she comes from a rough household and that she’s had to run away more than once and change her name more than twice. Finds solace in her liquor. Is damned good with kids because she wants one, and obviously because she sees her redemption in the salvation of little babies. A hard, hard-knock woman, a woman "rode hard and put up wet." Actor must have a strong facility with language; ability to speak Spanish a plus.
