Download FILM #1 BACKFIRE - SCRIPT.PDF (5.5 KB) About Lleno, a 17 year old gangbanger turned football player, and Gustavo, Lleno's gang-affiliated older brother. When Lleno's nightly walk from football practice turns into an untimely reunion with Gustavo, he rediscovers where the line is drawn when it comes to family and loyalty in the streets. Rumors are amidst that Lleno ratted his own brother, and Gustavo has resurfaced to share some “brotherly advice” with Lleno.

After she wakes up, he must try and let her down easy, assuring her it's not her, it really is him; he's gay. She takes this rather well as she's not the one he married.

Mehmet, a Turkish protestor, is running away from the police until he gets cornered. Desperate and injured, Mehmet knocks on the door he thought would never come back again. The place he wants to hide is actually the situation he was protesting for.
