Production Description

Sharim v’Sharot is auditioning new singers for its 15th season. Sharim v’Sharot is an independent, select Jewish choir with singers from Central New Jersey and the Delaware Valley, and is dedicated to performing and educating the public about Jewish music. The largely a cappella choir has 24 singers, and performs all Jewish music, from medieval to modern, in all languages and styles. Concerts will be given in museums, synagogues, and community centers. Auditions are ongoing throughout the summer.

The choral recently performed at the North American Jewish Choral Festival at the Hudson Valley Resort and Spa in Kerhonkson, New York. Sharim v’Sharot was invited to perform in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Festival, which is sponsored by the Zamir Choral Foundation of New York.

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

Rehearses Tues. eves., September-June, in Lawrenceville, NJ, with occasional concerts throughout the year. The theme for the spring concert is "Jewish Composers of Mercer County."

Compensation & Union Contract Details

No pay. Tuition and materials fee required.
