Full Project Description

We examine the investigation conducted by the Seattle Police department (who ruled Cobain's death was caused by a self-inflicted gun-shot wound), and also break down the possibilities introduced by Tom Grant - the Los Angeles private investigator hired by Courtney Love to search for her husband (Cobain) in the days before his body was found - who believes that Cobain may have been the victim of foul play.

Reenactments based on first-hand, eyewitness accounts of the people that were there during those pivotal days will give audiences a glimpse into the important moments surrounding this tragic event.

This is not a Kurt Cobain biopic. Re-enactment events unfold from multiple POV's as characters investigate Cobain's death and begin to question the findings. The film also looks at how the media contributed to the public's perception that Cobain's suicide was inevitable, due to the repeated dissemination of false information about him (not necessarily deliberate on the part of the media) that eventually became perceived by the public as truth.
