Role Description

Doc Bartelli / Gustav Von Meyerhoff: (Lead) one actor to play both parts. Doc Bartelli is the moneyman that funds the Wiston brothers’ movies. He is an elegant older man who did well in banking and has had success backing Tony’s movies. Mostly dealing with Dale, Doc is pragmatic and every inch a businessman. A fan of what Tony creates, he is becoming less interested in being convinced that Tony’s crazy ideas are worth investing in. Von Meyerhoff is a world famous conductor and a larger than life presence. “Theatrical even when standing still.” Looking for an actor with range to play both parts. Comic chops a must, though Doc is certainly not played for laughs, and Von Meyerhoff, while a huge presence, is not a cartoon.
