Casting "Speakeasy Dollhouse: The Brothers Booth." Synopsis: "[The show] is set in 1919 in The Players Club—the former home of Edwin Booth—and features actors portraying John Drew (then-president of the Players Club) and John Singer Sargeant, as well as the ghosts of Edwin and John Wilkes Booth. The production also includes live jazz, moonshine, and burlesque."
Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations
Rehearsals begin Feb. 17, 2014 at The Players Club (evenings/weekends; most actors will only be called for a handful of rehearsals); only run-through will be held before first performance on March 1 at The Players Club in NYC; will also perform April 5 & May 3; more performances may be scheduled after the initial three-performance run.
Compensation & Union Contract Details
Pays: $60 stipend per performance. Travel reimbursement provided during rehearsal period.
