Production Description

Center Stage Playhouse, a non-profit theater group providing theater entertainment in the Bronx since 1969, is seeking performers for a stage reading of "Savage in Limbo," a play by John Patrick Shanley. The story moves from comedy to near tragedy as it explores the hopes and dreams of a group of rootless young "losers" who congregate in an anonymous Bronx bar, hoping to find respite from the drabness of their lives.

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

Rehearsals tentatively scheduled 7-9 p.m. Aug. 12, 13, 15, 19, 20 and 22 at Bronx House, 990 Pelham Parkway South, Bronx, NY 10461. One performance of the script-in-hand stage reading 2 p.m. Aug. 24.
