Synopsis

Struggling to find love, Leo, a successful doctor falls in love with his new tenant only to find he has an equally passionate imagination.

Leo, a middle aged male doctor who lives alone and is single, prepares for a new tenant in the house adjacent to his.  Leo awaits the arrival of Jessica, who is a city native and has relocated. Leo looks to adopt a dog as he spots Jess pull up with her car and movers, he greets and helps her get settled.  Leo can’t keep his eyes off Jess who is stunning and also single.  He becomes persistent in doing nice things and asks her out, with little success.  Leo has a glimmer of hope when Jess agrees to get coffee with him.  He drives carelessly, lovestruck, before diverting off the road, flipping his car.

Leo wakes up confused, unaware of the events that led him to the hospital.  He lies to the doctor about a nonexistent relationship with Jess, and that she is out of town.  The time comes for Leo’s bandages to be removed, revealing extensive scarring.  Jess packs her bags leaves for the airport.  Leo is discharged from the hospital, he goes home and notices Jess is gone.  He makes a rash assumption that she has left for good.  Leo begins living in Jess’s house interacting with his made up version of her.
