Production Description

Casting "Strife." Synopsis: In 61 AD the Iceni tribe of eastern Britain rebelled against Roman rule, sparking a brutal and chaotic six-week war. The so called “Boudican Revolt” spiraled across the country until ending in one of the most spectacular battles of the pre-modern era, The Battle of Watling Street, in which ten thousand Romans squared up against two-hundred thousand Britons, and won.
This twenty-minute short film is an exploration of the quiet moments right before the climactic showdown as the leaders on both sides express their fears and doubts and passions before the bloodiest battle of their time.
