Production Description

Casting the 2014-15 season for the 5th Avenue Theatre. Season includes: "A Chorus Line" (rehearsals begin approx. Aug. 2; runs Sept. 11-28), "A Christmas Story: (rehearsals begin approx. Oct. 29; runs Dec. 4-31), "Carousel" (rehearsals begin approx. Jan. 6, 2015; runs Feb. 12-March 1), "Something Rotten: (rehearsals begin approx. March 17, 2015; runs May 14-24), and "Grease" (rehearsals begin approx. June 9, 2015; runs July 16-Aug. 2).

Season runs in Seattle, WA.

Compensation & Union Contract Details

Pays: $1,029.09 min./wk. Equity WCLO Contract.

Bebe: Alto. From Boston. Insecure about her looks, uses humor to cover it up.
Bobby: Baritone. Flamboyant, funny, sassy. From New York.
Cassie: Soprano. Older dancer. Returning to the chorus after years of being a featured performer.
Connie: Alto. Asian. Very short. Born in NYC.
Diana: Alto. Tough and street smart. Athletic dancer from the Bronx.
Don: Baritone. Confident, cool, ladies man. All-American and cocky.
Gregory: Baritone. Flamboyant and egotistical. From New York.
Judy: Mezzo. Scatterbrained and nervous but hopeful.

Billy: Baritone. Barker at the Carousel. Attractive and rugged. Has a good heart, but violent with those he loves.
Julie: Soprano. A very shy but headstrong young woman. Marries Billy.
Carrie: Alto. Julie's best friend. Conventional. Marries Enoch Snow.
Enoch Snow: Tenor. A successful fisherman. Conventional.
Nettie Fowler: Mezzo. Julie's older and wiser cousin. Runs a local eating establishment and looks out for Julie.
Jigger Craigin: Baritone. A sailor on a whaling ship. Involved with criminal activity.
Mrs. Mullin: Owns the Carousel. Upset with Billy's attraction to Julie. An attractive middle-age woman.
Louise: Billy & Julie's 16 year old daughter. Tormented by the kids in town because of Billy's past. Stars in ballet.
Mr. Bascombe: Strict owner of the local mill where Julie and Carrie work.
Starkeeper/Doctor Seldon: A heavenly figure. Helps to guide Billy.
Carnival Boy: Young man who attends school with Louise. Dancer in ballet.
