Production Description

Casting a film for New York Film Academy, "The Enemy," inspired by the book, "Cosmétique de l'ennemi," written by Amélie Nothomb. Casting Director states: "John is waiting for his doctor in an emergency room. On the other side of the waiting room is Textor Texel who immediately talks to John about his weird life and psychology. John refuses to be part of the conversation and complains that Textor is the most annoying guy that he has ever met. Textor offers a deal to John: to get rid of him by killing him. John doesn't understand why Textor wants to be killed by him and refuses. Textor is upset by his answer and insists. John calls the nurse for help. Once the nurse is there she doesn't react to Textor and asks John to wait a little longer for the doctor. John is furious and asks to Textor why did she didn't do anything to arrest him. Textor answers that he doesn't exist and that he is John - his 'dark side' or 'interior enemy.' John doesn't believe him. To prove him wrong, Textor asks why John is waiting for a psychiatrist. John protests while Textor is pointing to the diplomas hanging on the walls of the waiting room. John stands up and realizes that he is waiting in a psychiatrist's cabinet."
