Steel River Playhouse

Production Description

Steel River is casting "The Fisherman and His Wife," for its annual Theatre for Youth production. Project description: "The classic morality tale about the tension between greed and contentment. A fisherman catches a magical fish that barters to be thrown back into the sea by granting the fisherman a wish. Feeling that he asked for too little, the fisherman’s wife repeatedly sends him back to the shoreline to ask for additional favors from the fish, each bringing more trouble than good fortune with it."

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

Rehearsals begin August 26th. Opens September 30th, in Pottstown, PA.

Compensation & Union Contract Details

All actors will be paid a stipend for the run of matinee shows (four- to six performances).
