Role Description

Jan Petronski/Old Man Svenson: (Supporting) Jan Petronski is Wanda's loving father, hopeful that he can create a better life for his family in America; the struggles are great but he tries to keep a positive outlook for his daughter; speaks and sings with a Polish accent; minimal singing required. Old Man Svenson is mysterious man who lives alone in a poor neighborhood; has a surprisingly keen understanding of what has been going on with the children, given his distance from the situation; non-singing role. Note: Jan Petronski and Old Man Svenson may be played by the same actor.
