Production Description

Casting "The King Has No Clothes," a revised version of the classic children's tale. Synopsis: "The tale has been revised as a post-9/11 fable that finds Uncle Sam homeless and dazed and crying on a bench in Central Park. Three children (of mixed ethnicities, eight-twelve years of age), Sabastian, Jasmine and Roscoe, discover Uncle Sam, who does not know his own name. The children commit to helping the old man find his home again, even though the passing adults do nothing."

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

Rehearses July and August; performs Sept. 11-14 (3 p.m.) at The First Street Green Park at Houston St., NYC.
