Production Description

Casting "The Loneliest Whale in the World." Synopsis: "Lucy, a mutant, friendless whale, washes up on a garbage-strewn beach in Babylon, Long Island, intent on killing herself. As she waits to die, perfuming her surroundings with the stink of desperation, strange, magnetic forces that have been ripped with her from the sea work their way into the lives of two people in the process of clawing away at themselves. Perhaps Lucy is not so alone after all. A play about gnawing at oneself and whether it is better to be swallowed up by that shameful, morbid pleasure or whether we must finally give into all the talking heads that tell us to stop."
