Production Description

Casting Charles Ludlam's "The Mystery of Irma Vep, A Penny Dreadful," to be presented as part of the Falcon Theatre's 2013-14 season. Show is a hilarious quick-change spoof that begins on a dark and stormy night at a haunted estate on the heath at the turn of the century, as Lord Hillcrest and his new bride uncover werewolves, vampires, and even a mummy in Egypt (two actors play all roles).

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

Rehearsals begin Sept. 17. Performances run Oct. 16-Nov. 17 at the theatre in Burbank, CA; Five performances a week, Wed.-Sat. nights at 8 p.m., and Sunday matinee at 4 p.m.

Compensation & Union Contract Details

Pays $8.50/hr. for rehearsals, $43 for performances. Equity LOA Contract. No health wks. Producer pays pension & workers comp. Understudies will be paid for 20 hrs. of rehearsal time and $46/perf. whenever they go on. Understudies do not need to be present at performances unless going on stage.
