George is a sixty-year old Chinese widower who lives with his 30-year old daughter, Tiffany. He is a witty yet thoughtful father. He is an immigrant from China and lives in New York for 20 years. Unfortunately, a tragedy of house fire happened to his family and his wife was the victim. Spending half of his life with his only daughter, his parental love for Tiffany is unmeasurable. Now that, Tiffany has married a man from China and has to leave him for following her husband according to the tradition. Coincidentally, the place she is going is his hometown. He is worried about his daughter that if she would forget about her childhood in New York due to his own experience which he no longer has memories of his native town. But most importantly, the thing which brothers him most is she would forget her mother's image as she has no picture of her mother due to the house fire.
