Role Description

Clare (Understudy): (Lead) She has the quality of youth but is not young. She has a gaunt, almost emaciated, world-weary look. She is the female star of the company. She is a drug addict and perhaps schizophrenic. Her character in the play within the play has a childlike simplicity about her, the pure and sad preciousness of a little girl. Note: This role has been cast, seeking an understudy only.
