Production Description

TheatreWorks is casting its 2013-2014 season.

"The Loudest Man on Earth"—Jordan Weiss: male, 40s, deaf, a theatre director. Haylee Masters: female, 30s, a journalist and author. Actor: 30s-40s, plays multiple roles. Actress: 30s-40s, plays multiple roles.

"Warrior Class"—Julian Weishan Lee: male, 40s, Chinese-American, a square jawed Marine turned politician. Nathan Berkshire: male, 50s, Caucasian, a many faceted political creature with an easy demeanor. Holly Lillian Eames: female, 40s, Caucasian, a suburban housewife, dated Julius in college.

"Little Women"—Jo March: an impassioned and irresistible young author. Marmee: mother of the girls, her strength and spirit hold the family together. Meg: the oldest and most graceful of the sisters. Beth: the second youngest, most sweet-tempered of the sisters. Amy: the youngest and most impetuous of the sisters. Aunt March: the sisters' formidable and wealthy aunt. Professor Bhaer: male, mid-late 30s, a German professor. Laurie: male, 20, lives with his grandfather next door to the March family. Mr. Brook: late 20s, Laurie's tutor, falls in love with Meg. Mr. Laurence: early 70s, stern solidly-built, Laurie's wealthy grandfather.

"Silent Sky"—Henrietta Leavitt: female, 30s, the brilliant, meticulous, excited astronomer. Margaret Leavitt: female, 30s, Henrietta's sister, a creative, sweet homebody, a pianist. Peter Shaw: male, 30s, asst. to the head astronomer, love interest for Henrietta. Annie Cannon: female, 40s, team leader of photometer at Harvard Observatory, terse and sure, grows into a firebrand. Willamina Flemming: female, 50s, Scottish, smart as a whip and fun, one of the photometer team.

"Once on this Island"—Little Ti Moune: an orphan girl, found in a tree. Ti Moune: heroine. Mama Euralie: adopted mother, a peasant. Asaka: the goddess of the earth. Erzulie: the goddess of love. Andrea: Daniel's betrothed, one of the "grandes homes." Agwe: god of water. Papa Ge: god of death. Tonton Julian: Ti Moune's adopted father, a peasant. Daniel: Ti Moune's beloved, one of the "grandes homes." Armand: Daniel's father, one of the "grandes homes."

"Hound of the Baskervilles"—John: male, plays Dr. John Watson and others. Jason: male, plays Sir Henry Baskerville and others. Javier: male, plays Sherlock Holmes, Miss and Mr. Stapleton, Mr. and Mrs. Barrymore.

"Marry Me A Little"—A Young Woman: lives in apt. 2E. A Young Man: lives in apt. 3E.

Compensation & Union Contract Details

Pays: $710-765 min. Equity LORT B & C Contracts.
