Production Description

Casting "The Universal Language of Music and Dance," a video. Company states: "Simply put, the song celebrates the fact that despite our differences in language and culture, music is universal. There is no restriction on the type of dance that will be choreographed except that we must keep it clean. It doesn't have to be Disney but it can't be Bob Fosse. I'm looking to create something memorable, visually striking and easy for people to imitate. We are a small company with a budding entertainment division. Our resources for this shoot are limited so the ability to maximize with few resources will be important."

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

Rehearses late Oct. 2013; shoots TBD in NYC. Note: Members must be available Saturdays to meet for initial sessions.

Compensation & Union Contract Details

Small stipend provided for traveling to rehearsals and to the shoot. Company states: "The video will be made available for sale online and will be shown on YouTube. Forty percent of all net video sales and ad revenues generated online will be shared with group. Realistically, sales are not expected to be tremendous, but hopefully you will make enough money to feel the project was worth your while to participate. If your group is organized as a company (partnership, LLC, etc.) that would be perfect. Our payments would be made to your company. The proceeds can then be distributed by your company per your agreements with each individual member. If you are not organized as a legal entity, we will split the troupe's share of the revenue evenly and pay each member directly."
