Role Description

The Writer: (Lead) former reputable crime novelist who lost his credibility and fame after a drug addiction sent him spiraling out of control, released from rehab at the start of the film, he attempts to avoid the press and his family by hiding out in a dingy inner-city apartment while searching for inspiration for a new book that could put him back on the map, while in rehab he obsessively collected newspaper articles relating to violent crimes around the city with hopes of gaining inspiration; must have the ability to grow facial hair and to grow their hair a little bit longer; performance is dialogue/action driven but, most importantly requires excellent facial/body language skills.
