Production Description
A Class Act NY, an acting studio for kids and teens, is offering a one-day voiceover workshop. Company states: "Learn the art of voiceover acting in an actual recording studio complete with a professional sound engineer, Ricky Murphy! Ricky works with celebrity voiceover actors and will record the session, so kids will get to take home an MP3 of their work. Students will focus on scenes from animated television and learn how to make bold character choices, as animation is very different from other forms of acting. Towards the end of class, a top New York City voiceover casting director will come in to conduct a mock audition."
Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations
Class will be held April 21, 2-5:30 p.m. at PDR Voiceover Coaching, 826 Broadway, 4th fl., NYC.
Compensation & Union Contract Details
No pay, but all participants will receive an MP3 after class.
