Production Description
Leavenworth Summer Theatre is casting "Footloose," the musical adaptation of the 1984 film. Philip Evart Lacey, dir.
"Loosely based on the real-life story of a Chicago teen who moves to a small, rural, American town, and his uplifting impact on the town that has banned dancing and rock music, due to the efforts of an uptight local minister."
Leavenworth Summer Theater is the largest theater between Seattle & Spokane, with more than 20,000 people expected for this year’s summer productions.
Producers state: "We do not provide housing but in most cases are able to assist actors in finding reasonable housing. In addition to working in our Summer productions, some of our actors seek additional income via part time jobs in the local tourist industry, including outdoor events, hiking, and river rafting. Leavenworth is a great place to spend a summer."
