Production Description

Seeking participants to audit an intense, rigorous on-set class for the more committed actor who is ready to become that extraordinary storyteller. The emphasis of the class is on film technique, scene study, and scene analysis.

Instructor states: "This 'first work' is designed to simulate an on-set camera rehearsal, when actors run through the scene once, and then discuss the scene with the coach. Students take the coach’s feedback from this discussion into a second week of rehearsals. Then, in the second class of the cycle, students present the 'second work' of their scene, which is designed to simulate performing the scene on a live set–the coach will stop and start the scene and give adjustments as the students work. Scenes are usually shot in the last two week of every month."
