Production Description

Seeking crew for "Woodstock '99." Directors state: "This show’s central premise is that all dark deeds come to light. It’s a 4-person, three act show with the framing device of a ‘real-time’ Twitter talkback in which the main character, Shelley, brings the audience up to speed with the evening’s subject matter. She recounts to her audience how she, Shelley, and her boyfriend, Travis, set Shelley’s best friend, Erin, up with Travis’s roommate, Pat. Shelley had never met Pat, and when she finally sees him she recognizes him from the Woodstock festival that took place in 1999 and is forced to confront her dark history with him. She remembers him very vividly from the festival, or at least she believes she remembers vividly. The show guides the audience in an almost voyeuristic exploration of what two people are saying to each other when they think no one else is looking via texting and social media."

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations
