Production Description
Standard|Royal is casting the short, "You Are in Bedford, Man." Producer states: "The pioneering bass player of an 80s heavy metal group, DevilBreath, is fired from his own band and has to deal with a dead groupie in his hotel. Wait...two dead groupies. Tone is a black satirical comedy.
We've already shot 85% of the 35mm short film. We are shooting a flashback scene set in 1983: an MTV-style interview with the Ripper Brothers, Rex and Roy. Standard|Royal is a creative agency in Los Angeles that has produced for MTV, Nike, Sony, eBay, Zippo, etc., as well as screening work in festivals like Slamdance, Shanghai and LA Shorts."
Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations
Shooting starts late March in Burbank.
