Role Description

Reggie: (Supporting) passionate, ravenous, but can never sate his hunger; can turn on a dime from ridiculous to sad, broken, vulnerable, clever, devoted, curious, lovable, haunted; does not trust himself, neuroses of the soul; self-annihilating and reactionary; energy can be multi-directional and not within his control; when he proposes to Carla, she agrees to marry him only if they act out their entire sexual histories on each other; at first wary of the reenactments, the process solidifies his profound love for Carla, and opens him up in a way he’s never experienced, big part of him likes being told what to do by the women in his life; loves his ex, Tony, and depends on her for frank advice, but not like Carla; when Carla passes away, he focuses his horrible grief on fiercely raising their daughter, Bernie; when teen Bernie gets in trouble, he fights tooth and nail to get her to trust him with the truth.
