Casting Directors Advocate Views On Workshops

Concern over actors having to "pay to audition" through casting workshops broiled to a fevered fight on the West Coast this year. The result: the California labor commissioner issued a new set of workshop regulations after meeting with workshop directors, the Casting Society of America, and the performers unions.
