80th Academy Awards (2008) Best Actress – “La Vie en Rose" Cotillard became the second French actress to receive the statuette, after Sophia Loren in 1961, when she won for "La Vie en Rose." And Cotillard famously thanked the city of Los Angeles by exclaiming, "It is true, there is some angeles in this city!"
