8. Roberto Benigni

71st Academy Awards (1999) Best Actor and Best Foreign Language Film – “Life is Beautiful” Benigni famously climbed over all of the seats in the auditorium to get to the stage when his Best Foreign Language Film win was announced. Benigni then became the first male actor in a non-English speaking role to win Best Actor, and he appropriately said, "There must be some terrible mistake. I used up all my English," alluding to his previous speech.
