11. The Nightmare Before Christmas

Tim Burton's stop-motion, fantasy musical is one of the only Christmas movies of it's kind. A fusion of jack-o-lanterns and Christmas trees, "The Nightmare Before Christmas" follows Jack Skellington as he ventures from Halloween Town to Christmas Town. Once Halloween Town plans to take over Christmas, Jack decides to kidnap Santa and impersonate him. Sometimes we need a dark taste of Burton to mix up all the bright Christmas cheer.
